Nadel Drissi was born and raised in Morocco, with a traveling, dancing heart. A trip to Europe took him to Paris, France and Berlin, Germany where he first encountered the " Argentine Tango" many years ago.

In New York over the last four years Nadel has studied with many diverse teachers of local and international repute, while developing his own unique and playful style of dance. His teaching career with tango began in Queens, NY and in the summer of 2000 he organized a tango society in Blue Hill, Maine. Blue Hill grew to a thriving community that continues to flourish today.
Nadel has performed in various programs in New York City, New Britain CT, The Berkshires and Springfield, MA. He has performed locally in the Springfield area for the International Language Institute, the Jewish Community Center and in Arcadia Players in: "Arcadia goes Latin!". He has also performed with the guitarist Lorena Gray for her new CD.
In 2003 he taught at Greenfield Community College, Holyoke Community College, Center for the Arts in Northampton and Community Services.
This year he has performed at Forbes Library in Northampton.
Currently Nadel teaches at Upstairs Studio in Northampton, MA and at the American Legion Hall in West Hartford, CT.
